A. M ost service officers believe it

tio n fo r p riv a te insurance. A m a ­
jo r it y o f veterans are c o n ve rtin g
th e ir g overnm ent insurance in to 20-
paym ent o r o ther fo rm o f p riv a te
life insurance. A t least, the veteran
should p e rm it his insurance to
run its present te rm u n til he has a
chance to analyze his a b ility to keep
up an insurance schedule o f pay­
ments. We suggest th a t you con­
sult yo u r local d ra ft board, veterans
a d m in is tra tio n o r y o u r p riv a te in ­
surance company.
Q. Can a veteran of either thia
war or the First World war enter a
hospital In another state to take ad­
vantage of a better climate, or must
he remain in the hospital within the
state in which he lives?
A. A ccording to the Veterans ad­
m in is tra tio n , it is possible in some
cases to be tra n sfe rre d to a hos­
p ita l outside his state. His tra n s p o r­
ta tio n w ould not be paid fo r unless
the physician in charge ordered
such a tra n sfe r. You should re fe r
the m a tte r to the regional office of
the V eterans a d m in is tra tio n w hich
