MacOonnell Speaks at Last Vesper Service Mackie Home Fire Damaged Friday A fire at the James Mackie home at 152 Oak Street Friday afternoon about 4 o’clock brought a call for the fire department. The blaze was believed to have started in the attic, but no reason for its start has been discovered as y?t. Insurance adjusters were in Ashland Tuesday to make the necessary investigations and it was reported that about £2,000 damage was done, which was covered by insurance. Consider­ able damage wai inflicted to the contents of the home, especially to clothes and furnishings.
