Oregon, was arrested Sunday
evening by our "P a rk P a tro l” on
the charge o f d riv in g his cur u p ­
on u pedestrian path in the m ain
p a rt o f L ith ia Park. The D efen­
dant plead g u ilty to the charge
and was fined $3.00 and $2.50

firs t o ffic e r to a rriv e a t the K la ­
m ath Falls A ir Station and serv­
ed fo r a tim e as O ffic e r in charge
o f th a t station before its com m is­
sioning on F ebruary 12, 1944. He
was closely associated w ith the
g ro w th and developm ent o f the
station from the tim e o f com ple­
tio n o f the fir s t barracks and a r­
riv a l o f the fir s t drafts o f men.

ed his regular duties were those
of T ra in in g O fficer, and O ffic e r
in Charge, N avy Managem ent
Program.
Lie u te n a n t Messenger is on
