I am still hearing praise from the Members on the quality and flavor of Oregon pears. T h e 78-79 C lu b , formerly known as the 78 Club, is an inter­ esting and valuable institution. New Members have numerous common problems which are dis­ cussed at our weekly meetings. It is customary also to have guest speakers of national prominence. After such a speaker makes his formal talk, we have a question period which lasts an hour or more. Last week, Eric Johnston, youthful and dynamic President of the United States Chamber ol Commerce, was our guest, and gave us some off-th-record and highly interesting observation on his trip to Russia. ——o*— ■ — Church of Christ F.
