I am still hearing praise from the Members on the quality and flavor of Oregon pears. T h e 78-79 C lu b , formerly known as the 78 Club, is an inter esting and valuable institution. New Members have numerous common problems which are dis cussed at our weekly meetings. It is customary also to have guest speakers of national prominence. After such a speaker makes his formal talk, we have a question period which lasts an hour or more.
