Radar E n listm en ts Show B ig Increase i Central P oin t M ills Ship 1723 Carloads MEDFORD, Jan. 27—A total of 1723 carloads of lumber was ship ped last last year from newly de veloped sawmills and planing mills at Central Point, according to a survey made recently. The Southern Oregon Sugar Pine company shipped 659 loads, most going to the navy, Chaucey Florey, manager, said indications were the output would be in creased in 1945. The Southern Oregon planing mill shipped 364 carloads of lum ber and the Cheney mill, produc ing mostly ties and studs, shipped 700 cars.
