The rep o rt was accepted, and the city attorney and the chief of police w ere ordered to im m e­ diately abote the nuisance and order the so-called tre a tm e n ts to cease, and take such o th er action ’ as they th ought necessary. On Tuesday Mrs. S te w a rt w as arrested by the city police on the charge th a t she had failed to com ­ ply w ith the order of the B oard of H ealth. In city court she plead guilty to the charge and w as Uned $200 and costs of 2.50 and was given a th irty day ja il se n t­ ence. The Ja il sentence was su s­ pended and $162.50 of the fine upon condition th a t she pay $40 and close up the place by not later th a t S atu rd ay night, O ct­ ober 14.
