H. Wines. We feel that we are render ing Ashland a great service in bringing f i n e folks and thorough newspaper people here to become citizens and to carry on a work we have cherished. Mr. Wines has edited an Idaho weekly newspaper for many years, was, until his re cent resignation, chairman of the Selective Service Board, Clerk of the School District and otherwise active In the civic affairs of Council, Ida. Mrs. Wines was a member of Council high school faculty for the past several years. They have a family of three fine children who will enroll in the Ashland junior high school this fall. Mrs. Wines plans to assist her husband in the Miner of fice.
