ford, convicted of smothering 1 is

Lotka and his common-law wife,
Tillie Michalski, were indicted foi
the baby's death. Miss Michalski
was acquitted. Ixitka, then a ser­
geant at Camp White, was found
guiltv of second degree murder.
He is serving a life sentence at
the State Penitentiary.
