Mrs. Reba Kelsey entertained
the Who Do Class of the Method­
ist Church for the regular month­
ly session last Friday at her home
on North Main.
Mrs. Kelsey led the devotions,
and Mrs James Yeo presided over
the business meeting
The program was in charge of
Mrs. W. A. Stratton.
Refreshments were served by
the hostess assisted by Mrs. Ruby
Kenyon, Mrs. W S Moss and Mrs.
May Lennox.

day evening after the worship

evening of sociability. They se­
lected and laid plans to give a
Christmas play during the Christ­
mas season. Mr. and Mrs John
Billings are the sponsors for this
group and will be happy if other
young folks will join this happy
band in worship and in play

vicar of the Trinity Episcopal
Church of Ashland, addressed the
students -of the Southern Oregon
College of Educat'on at assembly
Wednesday morning. November
24. his topic. "For what I am
thankful."
Outlining the topic, the Rev
McDonnell hated three main items
for which to be thankful First,
the unanimity of opinion and spir­
it in this country which contri­
butes to the speed of bringing the
present war to a victorious end;
second, the privilege of living in
a country in which victory not
defeatism is the controlling phi­
losophy; third, the possession of
those Christian print pies which
he believes, he stated, is the
source of the spirit animating
this country
The Rev. McDonnell’s address
was given at the last assembly
held at HOCK before the week-end
