Recent articles appearing in the Saturday Evening Post written by Prof. Raymond Moley and attacking Roosevelt and the new deal have been, except to a blind partisan, a most disgusting display of political double-dealing. Moley, as author of the critical series, assumed his authority by virtue of having been a trusted friend and confidante of President Roosevelt during first months of the new deal. Dropped from the official family as assistant secretary of state, recipient of many new deal plums, Moley seeks retaliation on the President and, in his Post series, proceeds to pick the administration to pieces with vengeful purpose.
