Thieves, mur derers, and other transgressors of the law paid the penalty for their crimes in crucifixion on the Cross. It was not until after the crucifixion of Jesus that the Cross ceased to be an em blem of shame. Min isters will tell again the story of life, death and resurrection of this same Jesus who changed the Cross from one of death and disgrace to one of life, honor and glory. One of the greatest days of Bible record dawns upon us again, the flay of Easter, expressing the reality of the Risen Christ Every other known religion worships a dead leader. Death holds them in the darkness of the grave. They can have no future hope of a life beyond. Their religion holds only despair. To the people of God. who have experienced heart-felt religion, through the new birth of Christ, thia day is a day of rejoicing, a day of victory, a day of hope Our Christ liveth and abldeth forever, the living hope of all mankind— Christ within the hope of glory.
