    Bronze Plate Arrives
For ‘City of Ashland’
The Ashland Cn amber of Com-
merce this week received the
bronze plaque which will be in-
stalled on the big Grey hound bus
which was christened “City of
Ashland” with appropriate cere
monies last summer.
Planned as a tribute to this city
and calculated to bring much pub
licity, the plaque is inscribed on 1
the top line with the words Ash
land- the Beautiful Lithia City"
and continued with “Located on
the main scenic highway skirting
Mt Shasta and Crater Lake."
At the bottom is the phrase,
"City of Ashland” and the dedi
cation date. August, 1937.
