eral Directors of Southern Ore­
gon was held Thursday at dinner
in the Hotel Ashland. Representa­
tives from Portland. Klamath
Falls, Medford, Grants Pass and
Ashland were present to hear an
address delivered by the state
president of the order.
• Lithians visiting Medford Sun­
day included Lucille Smith, Bill
O'Brien, Dorothy Samuelson and
Dorrance Ruger, who were en-
tertained by friends.
• Leaving by train Tuesday eve-
ning was Mrs. Rilling Schuerman
who was called suddenly to Loop
City, Neb., by the illness of her
