Butler, Ashland Masons last night
held a banquet at the Masonic
hall at 6:30 o’clock, followed by a
program which had been prepared
by R. W. McNeal of the Southern
Oregon Normal school, who is dis
trict deputy of the order. He was
assisted by Mrs. McNeal.
Participants in the program
were lodge members, members of
the Alpha chapter of the Eastern
Star and students of the SONS.
Included in the ceremony was the
burning of canceled bonds and pre
sentation to Mr. Butler of a life
membership in the Ashland lodge,
