“CANDIDA”
Friday and Saturday Nights
Presented for the First Time in Ashland
Last week, George Bernard Shaw’s satiric com
edy, “Candida,” scored another dramatic success
for the Southern Oregon Normal School, whose
theatre work, under the direction of Professor
Angus L. Bowmer, is fast gaining a reputation
for Ashland as a center of amateur dramatics.
An unusual and effective feature of this pro
duction is the use of the “intimate style” in pre
sentation, the audience being seated on all four
sides of the stage.
TOWNSEND CLUB COOKED FOOD SALE SATURDAY
