The low-wing monoplane, powered by a 11 -cylinder twin row Wasp engine, has an expected top speed of 305
miles per hour with a cruising B[>ccd of 350 miles per hour. Built over n period of two years, the plane is

Giant Submarine During Battle Practice

respectively, David L. Selke, ninety-year-old head of the congressional
Informatton bureau, was wed to Sally Mason, flfty-nine-year-old music

Alleged Polygamist Colony in Arizona
A corn roast from corn grown in the vegetable garden on the tlev-
enth floor roof of the RCA building in New York was held In the
Gardens of the Nations. The corn was roasted by 12 Girl Scouts over a
hunter's fire built by them on a terrace of the gardens. The girls roasted
