League ‘Doormats’
Tromple Klamath
And Grants Pass
Southern Oregon league games
played last Sunday saw the two
‘‘doormats,’’ Ashland and Medford,
rise up and upset the two league
leaders. Grants Pass and Klamath
Falls.
At Grants Pass. Manager Cliff
McLean pitched the Lithians to
a 7-4 victory, allowing only six
hits. Ashland collected but four
blows but made each one count
and the entire Lithian team played
the best ball of the year.
Medford, with Manager Paul
Hoffard in the box. defeated
Klamath Falls at Klamath Falls.
