land Stewart is a former resident
of Pomona, Calif.
• Duke Lorton, who has been em­
ployed for some little time by the
Lithia hotel, left Tuesday morn­
ing for Klamath Falls, where he
has accepted a position in the
City Club. He will spend a few
days in San Francisco before tak-
ing over his duties.
• Mr and Mrs. C. J. Wolfe left
Monday for Portland and Seattle,
having been guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Rilling Schuerman since last
Thursday. On their return trip,
Mrs. Wolfe will remain as the
guest of Mrs. Schuerman and
other friends for a few days.
• Mrs. Roy Welch left Monday
for her home in Weed, Calif., after
spending several weeks at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Lusk,
of Van Ness avevnue, her brother
and sister-in-law.
• Miss Clara Braun, of Bismarck,
N. D., left Sunday for Lodi, Calif.,
to visit friends. Miss Braun has
been the guest of Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Hartley and upon her return
from California, will continue her
visit with them.
