cold-blooded murder has been com
mitted in southern Oregon, Earl

championed his cause stirred up
sympathy and misunderstanding
relative to the trial, and has al
ways been a natural ally to the
lawless element when it comes to
public opinion.
Just recently Earl Fehl lined up
with the murder of Sam Prescott
tn Ashland. He 1 b campaigning for
Llewellyn A. Banks now. He con
dones ballot thefts and yammers
about an imaginary stealing of
courthouse liqAor. Long-time resi
dents will remember how Earl
Febl's record of the past smells
of the same attitude toward pun-
ishment of the guilty and lawless,
He always has taken the part of
the criminal and has always placed
his newspaper in the path of jus
tice.

the phrase that “as a man thinks,
so is he.” then it is no wonder
