QUESTION: A young friend of
my son's drove up Into the hills
on a fishing trip a couple of
weeks ago. He left a valuable
rifle and some expensive fishing
gear In his parked car while he
fished along the banks o f a
stream. When he returned he
found the car had been broken
into and the rifle, fishing gear
and some other items stolen. He
was not insured so he had to
stand the loss. However, I have
a theft policy and I ’d like to
know if it would protect me in
a similar situation.

TELEVISION SET UP
I f and when television comes
to your home it w ill pose a new
problem in furniture arran ge
ment. The reason is obvious.
W i t h r a d io y o u r c o n v e r s a
tional groupings are closer to
gether because “seeing" is not
involved. In television the set
mast be a comfortable distance
away. (T h is distance varies*With
different sets and screen sieies.)
One very attractive w a y to
group your furniture is illustrat
ed above. Note how it follows
the pattern used in many homes
w here the fireplace is the cent
er of interest. This set-up is ideal
for video-viewing . . . but you no
doubt can think of many others.
End tables and coffee tables
w ill be much in demand in this
type of arrangem ent because
your friends w ill “stay put'
longer and w ill need the space
fc
for refreshm ents and cigarette
trays.
You can easily make this new
medium of entertainment fit Into
y o u r l i v i n g room d e c o r a t in g
scheme with the proper furni
ture and placement. Y'ou’ll find
many comfortable chairs and so
fas in our store from which to
view your favorite programs.
A n d remember, our ideas and
suggestions are also yours for
the asking. D rop in and talk it
over with us . . . and together
w e ’ll work out ideas for your
ow n specific needs.

Joe stoutly avows his tobacco

But then, Joe is a stout man!
