killed Saturday by a hit and run
driver on Bertha-Beaverton high
way at Ruby St., is asked to report
to the sheriff at Hillsboro, accord
ing to Mrs. Philip Mead.
The car which killed the dog was
a black Willys sedan, ’38 model,
of which the license number was
obtained.
The sheriff, however, declares he
is unable to prosecute thehlt-run
driver unless the owner of the dog
appears to swear out the com
plaint.
