OT?:ce Form* OF Residential REFRIGERATION FILING At a conference held Tuesday afternoon Sept. 27 in Beaverton Salem Sand and Gravel officials, contractors on th'e laying of mains and laterals, met with Mayor Jef fries for a discussion of contract matters. Also attending the confab was Carl Green, sanitary engin eer, Dave Lofgren, city attorney, Clarence Wilson, in charge of the Beaverton job, and attorneys for the contractors. It was reported that less than a mile of sewer pipe remains to be laid and all work has reached the stage of 80G completion. With the sewer treatment plant con tractors also close to the end of their job, it is expected that the complete installation will be made by November 15 or sooner, at least 1*4 months ahead of the ex pected date. The contractors declared they were entirely satisfied with the financial condition of the city and that the favorable weather has been of surprising assistance in speeding the job. When the complete sewer job is finished, inspections and exhaus tive tests will be made by the san itary engineer before it is accept ed and full and final payment made. Meanwhile, Mayor Jeffries dr dared, there will be no stubs laid, regardless of the method to be employed. When the sewer Is com pleted and the city can determine the exact cost, a financing plan will be set up for stubs. When these arrangements have been completed, stubs may go in at the homeowner’s convenience. SUNDAY SCHOOL R A LLY E. L. WORD, R eal Estate Farms FIND LEY M ILLIN G CO.
