F O R BOTH EN D S
While we have plenty of a job
making both ends meet, the Ven
etian theater, in Hillsboro,
last
week,
gave a movie version of
providing for both ends.
In one supporting
film there
was the "Inside story of the sil
ent service," "State Department
File 649” with
Virginia Bruce
while, on the next
change of
progiam,
“I Shot Jesse James"
with Preston Foster and Barbara
Britton, presented a story
that
has been argued about since that
song-famed "coward shot at Mt.
Howard” etc., etc.
Maybe the two features should
have had a conference to give a
little substance to what
really
happened to Jesse.
