Upon request Mr. B ecker will give a listing o f books for any grade level to the parents to prom ote reading o f g ood books in our ch il­ dren. The film "C lean W ater” sh ow ­ ed the pollution from sew age drain in g into the stream s and riv­ ers and cau sin g much dam age to health, property and recreation. It show ed how adequate sewage disposal is w orked and the need for sew age disposal in every com ­ m unity. It is the desire o f this P TA unit that every parent with a child in B arnes sch ool attend the PTA m eetings. It is thought by some not atttending that too m uch m oney is sent to the state and na­ tional organizations. But it was show n by our budget that most o f the m oney is spent and used fo r B arnes school and locality. A very sm all per cent leaves the district.
