The personnel repre- sented every State in the Union. They ; saw service at Aisne, Marne offen- , sive, the pinching of St. Michiel Sali ent, The Muse-Argonne offensive, and fn the Army of Occupation. Prac tically all their work was done under shell fire for they were at all times stationed between the artillery and the front lines an area that was consistently drenched by high explo sives. shrapnel, and gas.
