tablished a guide service fo r business
men, but the guide said fra n k ly that
most purchasing o fficia ls were so
busy these days that a business man
could do just about as well by sen d
ing a letter as by com ing to W ash
ington.
They estimated that a thousand
business men cam e to W ashington
each day, m ost o f them being refer
red from one o ffic e to another until
they had fallen arches from w alking
around.
The guards have discovered, too,
