Aurora Lutheran Church
Last Sunday evening Rev. O. Skill-
bred, chairman o f the
B. A. for
Oregon, spoke at our church and ex-
plained’ the purpose of the Lutheran
Brotherhood movement. Other speak­
ers were Professor Thorstenberg of
Eugene University, Rev. A. J. Ham­
mer and Attorney S. P. Ness. The ad­
dresses were listened to with great in­
terest by the audience and many men
enrolled as members of the L. B. A.
Next Sunday the services will be as
follows: "Sunday School at ten in the
basement.
German service at 10:15
and^English service at 11:15. Every­
body is cordially invited to attend.
Saturday School 1 meets at 1:30, and
the^choir,rehearses Sunday evening at
7:30.

You are hereby required to appear and
answer the complaint filed against you
in the above entitled suit within six
weeks from the 13th day o f December,
1923, the date of the first publication
of this summons, and if you fail to ans­
wer, for want thereof plaintiff will
■ take judgment against you for the Sum
o f Five Hundred Eighty-five 00-100
($585.00) Dollars, and her costs and
disbursements incurrod in this action,
and a further order ordering that the

dle o f the Salem and Butteville road;

road to the place o f beginning, except­
ing from said above described property
the land sold to the Oregon Electric
Railway Co., for a right o f way and
depot grounds and land sold to A. C.
and Dora Whitney and A. L. Whitney,
it being the intention to convey all of
the land owned by Robert Whitney, in
the D. L, C. o f Gideon Senecal, and
adjoiniug claims.
This summons is published by virtue
o f an order o f th.e Honorable Geo. G.
Biugham, Judge of the above entitled
Court, made on the 12th day of Decem­
ber, 1923, directing the same to be
published in The Aurora Observer, a
newspaper o f general circulation pub­
lished at Aurora, in Marion County,
State o f Oregon; the time provided for
in said order, for publication is six suc­
cessive weeks from the first publica­
