    SHERIFF’S NOTICE OF SALE
of Real Property on Forclosure
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN. That
by virtue of an execution duly issued
out of the Circuit Court, of the State
of Oregon, for the County of Marion
and to me directed on the 19th day of
November 1921 upon a judgment and
decree duly rendered, entered of record
and docketed in and by said Court on
the 7th day of November 1921 in a cer­
tain suit then in said Court pending,
wherein P. J. Kuntz and Amanda M.
Kuntz, his wife, were plaint ffs and
W. G. Muellhaupt and Ethel E. Muell-
haupt, his wife, and T. L. Benedict
and Rosabell Benedict, his wife, were
defendants in favor of plaintiffs and
against defendants by which execution
1 am commanded to sell the property
in said execution and hereinafter des­
cribed to pay the sum due the plaintiffs
of $1006 00. with interest thereon at
the rate of six per cent, per annum
from the 31st day of March 1920 until
paid|and the further sum of $90.00 at­
torney’s fees, together with the costs
and disbursements of said suit taxed at
$17.25 and costs and expenses of said
execution. I will on Saturday the 31st
day of December 1921 at the hour of
10 o’clock A. M. of said day at the
West door of the County Court House
in Salem, Marion County, Oregon, sell'
at public auction to the highest bidder
for cash in hand on the day of sale, all
the right, title, interest and estate
which said defendants and all persons
claiming under them subsequent to the
to the execution of plaintiff’s mortgage
in, of and to said premises hereinbefore
mentioned and described in said execu­
tion as follows, to wit:
Lots 45 and 46, Ire ton Fruit Farm in
Marion County, Oregon; said property
to be sold subject to a prior mortgage
of $3000,00 in favor of the Central
Howell Congregational Church, Inc.
•Said sale being made subject to re­
demption in the manner provided by
law.

The new Corvalifs city hospital is
nearing completidt.
Delinquencies in the 1920 Linn coun­
ty tax total about 5 per cent of the
tax of $1,185,601.
The Willamette and McKenzie rivers
are nearly back to normal again after
the recent flood.
Frank Atwood, 16, was killed by a
tree which crushed through the roof
of the family home near Buxton.
Estimated damage to Lincoln coun­
ty roads and bridges -on account of the
recent storm is estimated at $250,000.
The seventh annual meeting of the
Western Walnut association was held
in Portland Tuesday and Wednesday.
In all 1162 carloads of pears and ap­
ples have been shipped to the Eastern
market from Medford so far this sea­
son.
Ashland residents have subscribed
more than half the bonus of $30,000
required for the new-4^150,000 hotel
at that place.
At the school election held in Mon­
mouth the taxpayers of district No. 13
turned down the proposal to build a
gymnasium by a vote of 46 to 30.
Plans* of the Linn county farm
bureau to have .a farmers’ week cele­
brated in Albany from December 13
to December 16, inclusive, have been
abandoned.
The Angora club of Astoria com­
plains to the state forester that a mile
of trail leading to Saddle mountain
has been completely destroyed by log­
ging operations.
Slipping in the snow and falling in
front of an automobile while on his
way to school, Edwin® 7-year-old son
of L. P. Peterson of Wallowa, was run
over and killed.
