school were seen going towards
Portland here one day last week.
Marshal Higginbotham, Sam Mil
ler and others, took teams, autos

them off at Barlow. Two of the ooonu
Indians when confronted by Sam
Miller's gun, held so nimbly,
concluded at once to take no
chances, but the third took
French leave and got away. They
were treated so well by their
captors that if tney ever run
away again they will run straight
for Aurora.
