Notice is hereby given that iu pursuance of Chapter Six, of Title Thirty-two of the Revised Statutes of the United States, the Northwestern Consolidated Mining and Lumber company, whose postoffloe address is Seattle, Washington, h, abont to make application for patent foi '2626.6 feet of the "Colorado and 'Gould and Curry Lodes," bearing gold, silver and other precious metals and minerals, with surface ground 600 feet In width, said lodes being situated In township eight (8) south, range thirty-seven (37) east (not 'subdivided), situated in no organized mining district, in the county of Baker, state of Orogou, snid lodes being more particularly described by the plat herewith posted and designated by the Held uotes on file in the La Grando, Oregon, United State land office, as Mineral Survey No. 500, the maguetio variation of said purvey being 30 degreed, 25 to 21 minutes east, said "Colorado" and "Gould and Curry" lodes being more par ticularly described as follows, to-wit: Commeuoing at corner No. 1 of aid "Gould and Curry' lode, at a point more particularly described in said Bold notes, whence United States Mineral Monument No 2. bears south 10 degrees 31 minutes east 650.5 feet; thence north 34 degrees 15 minutes' east 300 feet to corner No 2. of said "Gould and Curry" lode; thence north 10 degrees 21 miuutes west 300 feet to corner No. 3 of said "Gould and Curry" lode, thence south 60 degrees 22 minutes west 1500 feet to corner No. 4 of said "Gould and Curry" lode; tbenoe south 10 degrees 21 minutes east 564.8 feet to corner No. 5 of said "Gould and Curry" lode, whence United States Miueial Monument No. 2 bears north 88 degrees 35 miuutes east 161.63 feet; thence north 65 degrees 30 minutes east 1304.8 feet to corner No. 1 of said "Gould and Curry" lode, the place of beginuing, all aooording to said Mineral Survey 500. Also begiuning at Corner No. 1 of said "Colorado" lode, which is identical with corner No. 5 ot said "Gould and Curry" lode, acordlng to said Mineral Survey No. 500, whence United States Mineral Mouu roent No. 2 bears north 88 degrees 35 minutes east 1616.3 feet; tbenoe north 10 degrees 21 minutes west 564.8 feet to corner No. 2 of said "Colorado" lode, which Is identical with corner No. 4 of said "Gould and Curry" lode; tbenoe south 71 degrees 30 minutes west 112.6 feet to comer No. 3 of said "Colorado" lode; thence south 10 degrees 21 minutes east 600 feet to corner No. 4 of said "Colorado" lode; tbenoe north 60 degrees 53 minutes east 11323.2 feet to said corner No. 1 of said "Colorado" lode, and containing a net area, after excluding the area in conflict with the Majestic lode, Miueral Survey No. 423 of 14-100 of an acre of 31.76 acres, all accord ing to said Mineral Survey No. 500, and forming a portion of township eight (8) south range thirty-seven (37) east of the Wilamette meridian, in Baker county, Oregon, the amend ed location notice of said "Gould" and Curry" lode being recorded March 17th, 1902 at page 631 of Volume R. ot the public records of quartz mining claim location notices of Baker county, Oregon and the ameuded location notice of said 'Colorado" lode being recorded March 17th 1002 at page 635 of said Volume R. of said records. The adjoiniug claims to said "Colorado" and "Gould and Curry" olaims are the "Yankee Jim" Mineral Survey No. 400, which adjoius said "Gould and Curry" lode on the east and the "Majestic" claim, Mineral Survoy No. 423, which adjoins and oon fliots with said "Colorado" claim on the north.
