English: You und each of you are hereby notified that 1 have expended during the years 1900, 1901, 1902, and 1903, the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars in labor and improvements upon the Astoria and Boud quartz tniniug claims, situato in what is commonly known as the Grackor Greek (uuorgauized) mining district in the county of Baker, utato of Ore gon, and being situated on Littlo Cracker J Creek, adjoiuing the Sampson,, iniuo and 'about two and one-half miles northerly from tho town of Bourne in Baker county, Oregon, in order to hold said claims under tho provisions of Section 2324 of tho Revisod Statutes of tho Uuiied States, aud amendments thereto con cerning unnual labor upon mining claims, being tho amount required to bold Baid claims for tho years ending respoctivoly December 31st, 1900, Decombor 31st, 1901, Decem ber 31st, 1902, and December 31st, 1903. Jones are horoby notified that if withiu ninety days from porsonal aorvico of this notice upon you, or withiu ninety days from tho publication theroof, you fail to contribute your proportionate dluiro of such expenditure as a co owner, which amounts to one hundred dollars, or twenty-llvo dollaiH for each of tho years 1900, 1901, 1902, aud 1903 from annual labor upon the said Astoria mining claim, your interest in said claim, which is a one fourth interest, will become the property of thej undersigned, E.
