Davidson returnod today from La Graudo, whoro he baB beou for several days past working on an electric road proposition, in con junction with Lon Cleaver, A. li. Brown and F. A. Philbriok. He states that the Union county court yseterday granted tbom a right-of-way over the proposed route The terms of the franchise require that surveying shall bo oommouood with in ten days and the road from La Grando to Cove comploted hj October 1005. A. 13. Brown will take uhnrgo of tho survey personally and start work uoxt wook. Tho road will bo a bolt, lino through the agrioultuarl districts of Gande Rondo valloy, srtarting at La Graudo and ruunlug through Islaud City, Nibley, Cove, Union, Hot Lake, aud back to La Graudo, 41,S miles lu longth. From Island City a bianoh will bo ruu to Elgin via Summnrvillo, a dlstanco of twenty two milos and tapping uno of tho finest bodies of timbor in tho wost. ThoBO gentlomeu havo secured an option on threo-qunrtors of tho stock in tho U. S. & S. road, four or llvo milos long, between La Graudo aud town of Union, which will bo a section of tho bolt lino. Tho road will be staudard gaugo, electric motive power and modorn equipment. GOLDEN WIZARD TO RESUME OPERATIONS Dr. L. O. Miller, of Three Rivera, Miobigau, president of the Goldnn Wizard compauy, accompanied by his son Jasper, arrived in town this morning to look after the interoats ot tho company. Dr. Miller, his sou, aud manager J. M. MuPheo left for the property this afternoon. lie will ieavo tomorrow for Tauoma where a mooting of the dircotors of tho commpany will be hold Monday or Tuesday. To a Minor reproseutativo, Dr. Miller stated that it is the intention of the compauy to resume operations at once. The details, however, will bo'arranged at the Taaoma meeting. Another car of machinery for the proposed mill is expected to arrive in a few days and tho work of constuot ing tho buildings will be undortakou at ouco. Kelly, who la interested in the Double Eagle aud Sixteen to One in the Greenhorn district, aud who has had charge of tho development work, was on the train this morning roturuiug fiom a trip to the coast, Souud aud Montana, after an abaouco of about six mouths. It will be remembered that Mr. Kelly mot with an accident beforo leaviug aud he has apeut muob of the timo whilo away in hospitals in Soattlo aud Tacoma. He has fully recovored, howovor, aud Is baok with a view to resuming work at the properties. Mr. Kollly apeut some timo in tho milling districts of Montaua while away. Hrady, superintendent of tbo Humboldt and lied Lion, operated by tho Fortune Mining company in tho Greenhorns cmno in last night with Mrs. Hrady , who left on this afternoon's train to visit a few days in Hukor City. Mr. Hrady says that tho sawmill is practical)' through outtiug timber for tho buildingB to onolosu tho now mill, and that tho machinery for tho plant will be nu the ground in a week or Bucb a matter. The bunk aud boarding houses are now uudor way aud arrangements are being made to put iu the mill as soon as tho niaohiuery arrives. In the mine stations are being cut at the 100 foot level, aud geueral work is proceed ing satisfactorily. Here to Invest. H.
