vorable report to the senate, from the
committeo on Industrial arts and ex
positions, ou-the bill providing fqr
the Lewis and Clark exposition at
Portland In 1005. The bill appro
priates 'J. 1 '25, 000. The only
amendment recommended by the com
mittee is to require that all govern
ment expenditures shall be made
under the supervision of a national
commission.-'
