DUKE AND DUCHESS GROUP.
Profxrty Making Satisfactory Showing,
Sayi Owner Sterling.
L. G. Sterling returned this week from
the Duke and Duchess property in the
Cable Cove district, where he has been
working for the past few weeks. Mr.
Sterling, who owns these claims, states
that they are making a satisfactory
showing. He has a forty-foot crosscut
"with twenty feet further to drive before
-encountering the ledge.
The values on the surface range from
8 to 140.
Mr. Sterling brought in with him
some samples from adjoining ground
which have the appearance of highly
.mineraliced limestone. No assays have
yet been obtained and the character of
the rock cannot be definitely stated.
Giant Powder is the best by test in
the world. T. G. Harrison agent.
