Said To Be Second Largest In State. The sinking plant at the Midway, operated by the Gelser-IIendryx Investment company, Is rapidly being Installed. The boiler, however, has been delayed in transmission. The company states that it should have been here three weeks ago. The depth capacity of the plant Is 2,000 feet and when completed it will be the second largest sinking plant in the state. The double com partment shaft is now down sixty feet. The ledge shows a width of seventy-nine feet, carrying satis factory ore values. CELEBRATION AT BOURNE. Miners' Union aod Cittern Arraogc for a Big Time Labor Day. Bourne Miners' Union No. 42, W. F. of M., the business men and citizens of that town, have arranged for a grand Labor Day celebration on September 7th to be held at Bourn, the contor of tho colobrated Crackor Crook mining district.
