About six miles of the Sumpter road is In fairly good shape, but tho rest of it is iu poor condition. If tho roads wero fixed, bo says that the transportation from the mine to the smelter would be reduced at least one-fourth. Tbo situation not only affects the Im perial, but the other companies, in the Cable Cove district which have shipping ore. The county com missioners have the matter under advisement and it is probable that the road will be attended to.
