Development at the Highland Mine Justifies an Advance
in the Price of Stock. It is Much More Valu
able Now Than When We Placed the
First Allotment on the Market
Some Two Months Ago.

RESULTS

since we acquired this property and tho Glasgow crosscut
has now encouutorod nud fully crosscut the ledge. In
this crosscut wo have opened up a body of ore sixteen feet
in width carylng good commercial values.
In speak I uk of commercial values wo mean ores which
have a sufficient valuo to pay for tho extraction, milling
and all othor incidental expenses thereto, with enough of
a margin left over to pay good dividends to tho stock
holders. This largo body of ore was not in tho nature of a Bur
pine, we simply expected It, as tho surface developments
showed this same largo body of ore, and thoro was no
reason why it should uot bo encouutorod lu this crosscut
and at this depth.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
Wo are now turning to drift on tho ledgo to tho west
from the crosscut in ordor that we may opon up tho richer
ores at a greater dopth which are found on tho surfaco
throughout the Dauuockburu claim.
ThlB lino' of dovolopmont, wo believe, will provo very
interesting to all who are interested, or may bocomo in
terested, in tho Highland mine as it will certainly opon
up oro bodies rich in quality and in largo quantities.
It will demonstrate that the Highland will rank as ouo
of the largest producers in the district.
From now on tho dovolopmont work will bo compara
tively eusy and not very expenBlvo, as wo will bo drifting
along on tho ledge where the ground is much easior to
work than in tho country rock which encases tho voiu.
