The Milling Plant is now running to its fullest capacity i!0 stamps, 1U Johnson
Concentrators and a Hock Breaker, and it is reducing
100 TONS OF ORE EACH 24 HOURS
During January the company installed an additional 80-IL P. Phoenix Holler,
equipped with a Cameron pump and an American 8(1-11. P. feed water heater.
During January, also, was installed a 10x11 7o.II. P. VULCAN GEARED
HOISTING ENGINE, equipped with a JIOLTHOFF INDICATOH and a No. 'J SINGLE
DECKED CA(iK, Intuit with a 7 inch plow steel wire cable.
THIS HOIST HAS A LUTING CAPACITY OF fi,(ll)0 pounds, 150 feet PER
MINUTE and Is ADEQUATE TO ENABLE WOHK1NOS TO THK l'JOO-FOOT
LEVEL.
The old track from the tram 000 feet In length was taken out and a new ttack
of No. l'J steel was laid and the tram has been carefully balasted.
NEW CAHS have been purchu-cd to enable the company to carry IIh ore from the
inliio to the mill by the train loud, thus greatly facilitating the matter of transportation.
As motive power a horse or a small electric motoroperated by trolley who will
hocused.
The company has 7ft0 cords of wood, 0,000 lagging and 1ft, 000 lineal feet of
peeled tamarack stulls on its property.
DEVELOPMENT WORK DURING THE MONTH OF JANUARY
During January the following workings were driven:
CO foot of drift in the tunnel level; '
70 feet of crosscut In the tunnel level stupes;
4.') feet of drift on the 100-foot level;
40 feet of crosscut on the 100-foot level;
'JO feet of drift on the 'JOO-foot level; '
110 feet or drift on tho :t()0-foot level.
Tho work of deep sinking will bo continued until the ore bodies have been
opened to tho l'JOO-foot level.
