The city will, however, bo asked to grant certain franchises for tramways by which to carry on logging opera tions in connection with the mill. Tho sawmill to be erected will have ii dally capacity of HI), 01)0 reel, and in conjunction with it will Is oper ated up-to-date sash and door and bo factory. The new enterprise moans a big increase in Huniptor's payroll. Hide tracks to the dry kilns are to be put in at once by the Humptor Valley railroad. The entire trim Miction involves u capital of $'.200, 000. The plant itself will cost 75,000, and will employ between 150 and 'J00 men.
