Never has the investing public had a better opportunity of putting money into a
first class mining proposition than that offered by the GOLCONDA From a rich mine
needing improvements it has been evolved into a great mine already entering upon its
period of Greater Production
WHAT THE GOLCONDA CONSOLIDATED GOLD MINES COMPANY HAS DONE
It is not what a company promises that counts; it is what it does. The Golconda
Consolidated Gold Mines Company does not come before investors now with merely
what it will do. It can tell you what it HAS DONE. The milling plant is now run
ning to its fullest capacity 20 stamps, 12 Johnson concentrators and a rock breaker,
and it is reducing
100 TONS OF ORE EACH TWENTY-FOUR HOURS!
During January the company installed an additional 80-H. P. Phoenix boiler,
equipped with a Cameron pump and an American 70-H. P. feed water heater. During
January, also, was installed a 10x14 7?-H. P. Vulcan Geared Hoisting Engine, equipped
with a Bolthof Indicator and a No. 2 Single Decked Cage, hung with a inch plow
steel wire cable. This Hoist has a lifting capacity of 5,000 pounds, 450 feet per min
ute, and is adequate to enable workings to the 200 foot level. The old track from the
tram 600 feet in length was taken out and a new track of No. 10 steel was laid and
the tram has been carefully ballasted. New cars have been purchased to enable the
company to carry its ore from the mine to the mill by the train load, thus greatly facili
tating the matter of transportation. As motive power a horse or a small electric motor
operated by trolley wire will be used. The company has 750 cords of wood, 6,000
lagging and 1 1,000 lineal feet of peeled tamarack stulls on its property.
DEVELOPMENT WORK DURING THE MONTH OP JANUARY
During January the following workings were driven: 60 feet of drift in the tun
nel level; 70 feet of crosscut in the tunnel level stopes; 4c feet of drift on the 100-foot
level; 40 feet of crosscut on the 100-foot level; 20 feet of drift on the 200-foot level;
30 feet of drift on the 300-foot level.
The work of deep sinking will be continued, until the ore bodies have been
opened to the 1 200 foot level.
GOCj CONDA STOCK AND THE CONSERVATIVE INVESTOR
Colconda stock has been ami is the stock of the conservative investor. Its tremendous improvement,
its original known vuluo and the fact that it will declare u dividend in March ure proofs enough of its in
trinsrc Value. Nowhere in the world of investments is stock hacked by more tangible worth than it is in the
Golconda mine. This stock is COLLATERAL; it is secured by enough gold ore to pay dividends for a
generation, and a milling and hoisting plant well able to turn the latent wealth into metallic gold.
As fiscal agent I have never hesitated in publicly expressing my utmost confidence in thu future ot this
great mine. I have always considered that the worlc accomplished by Messrs,., English it Bon was merely pre
liminary. I consider their developments mere scratching that proved the value of this nrojierty. Their
work mudo a fortune for them, but the real values ure now being uncovered and the enlarged plant will in
crease the production of this mine where it will pay dividends commensurate with its mineral wealth.
Stockholders buying stock prior to the declaration of dividends will receive their promrtionuto share of
THIS IS STOCK IN A PRODUCING MINE THAT IS READY TO PAY DIVIDENDS
Investors who recognize n valuable security should procure stock NOW. Tho Golconda has been brought
up to an industrial period and is in the same ranks as nro the larger and more proscrous manufacturing
enterprises of tho country.
If YOU wish further information on this mine, or wish to make your investment whilo Golconda stock
remains on sale, address all communications to
