Section I. That no iierson, firm, com

prosecute or carry on any trade, busi
ness, occupation, pursuit or profession
within the limits of the Citv of Suinp
ter for which u license may lie required

alleys or tables belonging to or used In

When not exct'cding one alloy or one
table the keiqier of such house shall pay
n quarterly license of Three Dollars, ami

additional sum of Two Dollars for each
additional table or alley. Kvery place or
alley where bowln are' thrown, or bil
liards, pool or pigeon-holo games are
playeil, audoieu to thu public, with or
without price, shall Ihi regarded iih a
howling alley or billiard room, resiec

Section 12. Shooting galleries shall
pay a quarterly license of Five Dollars.
Kvery place or building where guns or
pistols tire kept for shooting ut turgets,
whether for hire or not, shall Ihi deem

Section III. Tlu liters, plays or jer

shall pay a license of Three Dollars for

for each additional erforniunce.
Section 14. Keener or proprietors
of every skating rink shall pay n quar
terly license of Five Dollars under this
ordiumice. No license under this sec
tion shall lie issued except iimn the
payment of at leant Five Dollars.
Section 15. The keeper, proniietors,
managers or operators of nil public
swing or merry-go-rounds shall pnv n
license of Five Dollars for the first dny
and Two Dollars for each mid every suc
ceeding dny that the swing or merry-go-round

Section HI. All public exhibitions,
shows, or entertainments given by tho
residents of tho City of Suinpter for
charitable purposes or for u church shall
not require license under this ordi
nance. Section 17. It shall Ihi the duty of
the Marshal to see that the provision
of this ordinance are enforced,, and to
make complaint in the Hecorder'
Court for nil violations thereof.
Section 18. The Hecorder of tho City
of Suinpter, shall on the tenth dny of
each quarter, furnish the marshal with
ii list of the licenses issued, und it shall
