Lawton Standard: One of the best and
brightest papers that comes to our ex
change table Is the SUMPTER MINER.
That paper is doing a noble work for the
upbuilding of the district and the develop
ment of its wonderful resources. If we
I had more SUMPTER MINERS and less of
' the gnfllng class of papers, the district
would be a more desirable place in which
to do business.
Demecrat: A deal was consummated
I In this city Monday evening whereby the
I Don Juan and Do Do No. 2 claims passed
into the hands of eastern capitalists
through their agent, li. D. Le Clair. The
property was purchased from State Sen
ator Smith and the Allen brothers. The
purchase price is not definitely known,
though It Is given out as something over
$10,000. The Don Juan Is a comparatively
old property, having been located In 1894
by J. II. Allen and J. (1. Kelly. It is lo
cated in the Robinsoiiville district.
