New Road Law Now in Force.
' House bill 108, to provide for the col
lei lion ol road taes, has become a law

law requires county courts to levy a road
tax ol not more than ten mills on the dol
I ir, based on the previous year's assess
ment, llie fund thus created is to be ex
pended under the direction of a county
loidinastrr, who has supervision of the
toad supervisors. Upon the petition of

proved by the roadmaster, tor the iiu-
I provemeut of any road, the county court
shall consider the petition and, it ap
proved, shall call lor sealed bids lor Hie

ever, that the court may reject any and
all bids. I he court is also authorized to
puuhase roik crushers out of the road
tuiid. I he tax provided for in this act is
