veloped will be that ol 500 hordes and will
be liansmllted to the mine and mills two

CirUel lelt New Yoik it was undecided
whether to purchase two 250 horse power
motors or wait until one ol 500 horse
power could be built. The manager
rather favors the latter cruise, and it Is
very probable that it will be done. I he

will placr the order. Much additional ma
chiuerv will be purchased for mines and
mill, some of whiJi being an air compres
sor, a hoist and'power drills. All will be
ol most modern design and thoioughly

Rich Copper Find on Goose Creek.
If tellable reports are to be believed
there are big ledges ol copper ore on
(loose creek, to miles southeast of Union,
in Union counts', and about two and a
hull miles from the old Dolly Varden
quart mine on the toad between Sputa
and Sanger. Prisons who have come In
Irom the new copper district say there
are wonderful deposits of the red metal.
On the Heard claim a ledge has been
crosscut live Irrt but no walls h ivr brm
found. 1 he ore Is hemitite iron, sulphur
cts and grey copper. 'I he district shows
wonderful surface indications and it is
the opinion ol those who are making in
vestigation that the district will br a
great producer ot copper whenever capital
and practical mining are employed.
