Thomas Campbell and Peter McPhee
have opeudd the new Alamo hotel at Al

I class trade of that new town. The Case
Furniture company, of Sumpter, fitted
I them out, from cellar to garret, and the
' new hotel can provide a comfortable home
to the traveling public.
A number of ladies and gentlemen
walked down the railroad track about a
mile Monday evening, built a bonfire,
popped corn and spent a pleasant even

Richards. Miss Worswlck, Miss Jessica

The Chronicle has suspended publica
tion. The Atheys made a brave struggle

wishes that they had succeeded, but the
force of circumstances arrayed themselves
against the venture. The plant was
saved from the wreck and an option has
been given on it to I. P. (iallisou, mana
ger of the People's Advocate, Chchalls,
Washington. Seymour Hell induced this
gentleman to (.ome here to engage in
business.
The City ( recii house, at Maker City,
furnishes choice cut llowers.
