could be imagined. From Jati mu
sic of the syncoatcd kind, furnished
by the most approved instruments to
solos of more serious tenor, the group
of college men presented both an in
terestmg and delightful bill. Curtis
IVterson gave two baritone solos that
were heartily encored and applauded
by the audience. The club singing
was excellent and denoted a great
deal of time and effort expended in
preparation of the program.
From Albany the club goes to
I'rinville for an exhibition Monday
night. They appear in Bend Tues
day night and from there go through
the cities in Kastern Oregon. Too
much credit to the leaders of the club
and their director, cannot be paid for
the high quality of their entertainment.

GLEE CLUB CONCERT
IS GREAT SUCCESS
Oregon College Men Give
Extremely Pleasing ,
Entertainment
It is no exaggeration to say that
the entertainment furnished by the
Men's Glee Club of the University of
Oregon which appeared in Albany
Friday evening, was by far the most
enjoyable given to local theatre goers
for some time. The musical organisa
tion would do credit to any university
in the country. An appeal for their
support need not be based upon the
fact that it is an Oregon institntion.
The merits of their concert would
stand alone.
The program was as varied as
