The delegation alao took up with the commission th Pacific highway paving and was assured that Linn county will be paved this year from Jefferson to Harrisburg if the $10, 000,000 bond issue is paused by the people on May 4. Members of the commission said that the only thing to interfere with the construction of the highway would, be the failure of the issue to pas. If this money is available the state will be able to complete every project which it now has under way. The un paved gaps on th Pacific highway total about ISO miles, which shows that more than half of th distance to the state line is already under hard surface.
