letter to H. S. Logan covers the point
so well that it is herewith reprinted
in full:
Mill City. IV.. March 14. 1918.
Mr. H. S. Logan. Albany, Ore.
Dear Mr. Logan: I just noticed an
article in the evening paper stating
that you were chairman of a com
mittee to receive second hand cloth
ing to be sent to French and Belgian
refugees.
As chairman of the junior red cro
committee. I am asking the school
children tc cam-ass the town and will
send next Monday or Tueslay what
garments are in good condition, tin
iest I have other instructions from
you.
I sflou!d like to hear from you at
once in re-gard to this matter. The
high school girls have agreed to
make over rid clothes that have good
