These summer resorts have been
heavily patronized this summer there
being about 90 camps at Belknap's

Fishing on the McKenzie has no

several good catches w ere made. The
largest fish landed in the McKenzie
of late was a 24 1-2-mch Dolly Var
den, which weighed 5 1-2 lbs.
No deer were reported killed in
that section during the week of open
season. It is very dry and the dee

the deer season closed Monday, Aug
ust 20th. This information was con
veyed to Mr. Hawker over long dis
tance telephone by the State Game
Warden. The season will be opened
again on Sept. 1.
